No Medicare?

No worries.

Patients without Medicare

If you reside in Australia, but don’t have access to Medicare you can still access PrEP through our service.

From 1 September 2023, we do need you to have an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI Number). You can still order PrEP now, then apply for your IHI number later. To order PrEP Now click here.

Individual Healthcare Identifiers (IHI)

A number that identifies you for health care purposes.

An Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) is a unique number used to identify an individual for health care purposes.

It helps ensure health professionals are confident that the right information is associated with the right individual at the point of care.

Thos with Medicare already have an IH. If you’re not eligible for Medicare or a DVA benefit, find out how to get an IHI.

My Health Record (Optional)

My Health Record is a secure and convenient access to your health information anywhere, anytime. You need an IHI to have a My Health Record. This is a secure online summary of your health information.

Read more on the My Health Record website.

No Medicare & eScripts | Electronic Prescriptions (Required)

An electronic prescription is a digital version of a paper prescription. They are a safe and convenient alternative to paper prescriptions. You can choose to receive an electronic prescription from your healthcare provider when you next need a prescription, or you can request for it to be sent to your Active Script List (ASL).

Our PrEP Health service is setup and relies on eScripts.

No Medicare and already have a prescription?

If you already have an eScript for PrEP, you can order PrEP delivered from our pharmacy partner here. We’re able to deliver PrEP within 1-2 days to the capital cities on the East Coast of Australia and within 3-5 business days Australia wide.
